Experience

  1. Intern with the Asian and Asian American Classical Caucus (AAACC), 1 year
    • I’ve organized and led three events this year, which includes planning questions, visibility, and logistics. These events are aimed at APIDA high schoolers within the classics, and what the future of classics looks like.
  1. Co-Vice-President of Bryn Mawr Classics Club, 2 years
    • I’ve got a lot of VP experience- as one of the Vice Presidents of the Classics Club at our school, I help plan for events, organize meetings, and make sure that the Classics scene is thriving!
  1. Volunteer at Aequora, 3 years
    • Aequora is a volunteer program run by the Bryn Mawr Classics Club, which aims to bring the Classics to elementary schoolers. We teach students every week, and have discussed common Classical topics (Mythology, Roman numerals, architecture) while drawing connections to larger narratives.
  1. Classical Continuum at the New Alexandria Foundation, 1 year
    • The New Alexandria Foundation is a branch of Harvard’s Center for Hellenic Studies, which focuses on the digitization and accessibility of the Classics. I lead the management of the site’s metadata, which requires both important computational and organizational skills.
  1. Dickinson College Commentaries, 1 year
    • As an intern with the Dickinson College Commentaries program, I’ve developed commentary on Pliny’s Letters to help aid with the revised AP syllabus. Beyond the official end of the summer internship, I volunteered to create extra commentaries throughout the academic year, which has given me valuable insight on both the Classics and with organizational skills.
