My Campaign
- Email list: Make sure that everyone has an easy and accessible way to get the latest news.
- Welcome packet: A list of materials and information for new chapters and members of the MDJCL, containing everything you need to know!
- Alumni network: Reach out to MDJCL alumni to stay connected, so students can learn more about classics in the future and ask questions.
- Chant writing: A chant-writing competition and/or workshop for those going to Nationals, so we can collaborate and get excited about spirit!
- Convention hype week: Preceding Nationals, an initiative on the MDJCL Instagram and among chapters to learn more about the convention and get ready.
- State spirit: Continue the current spirit point competitions, and introduce “Spirit Superlatives” to recognize the chapters that participate the most.
- AITC Collaboration: Archaeology in the Community is a local nonprofit dedicated to bringing history and antiquity to elementary and middle school students. I’d reach out to collaborate on the donations they need, including school, craft, and activity supplies.
- Certamen events: Continue the current service projects at every Certamen, and pick up where our current Vice-President has left off!
